Fire Door Field Inspection
As a requirement of the 2007 National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA 80), all Fire Rated Doors must now be inspected and approved by a qualified Fire Door Inspector. Shanahan's Building Products is currently working with the Door Hardware Institute (DHI) in providing training for their Field Installation Crews to provide this service to its Building Owner Clients. Further information regarding this future service will be posted on this site in 2008.
Liabilities can be very high when fire saftey is ignored. Insurance can be held invalid if proper testing and maintanance of fire openings are not done.
